According to initial information, around 1:30 PM on the same day, Lang Biang ward experienced heavy rain lasting nearly two hours. This caused the stream flowing through B’Nor B residential group to swell rapidly. The girl was playing in her garden when she accidentally slipped into the fast-moving water and was carried away. Relatives discovered the incident but were unable to rescue her.

The Lang Biang ward People's Committee mobilized dozens of search personnel along the B’Nor B stream. By nearly 8 PM, authorities had not yet located the victim, and search operations were extended throughout the night.
