The cleanup focused on Ha Khe beach in Xuan Ha ward, Thanh Khe district, situated along the Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal road. This location is a popular public recreation and swimming area for residents and tourists in Da Nang's western urban zone.
While the beach area near the waterline was relatively clean due to regular maintenance, significant waste accumulated in the tree planters on the sidewalk and along the embankment. The 200 volunteers formed small groups, each equipped with metal tongs, gloves, and sacks, to systematically collect trash along the 2 km stretch of beach.
Volunteers successfully gathered a substantial amount of nylon bags, foam food containers, and plastic bottles, items typically left behind by beachgoers. After more than two hours of work, dozens of bags of collected waste were consolidated at a designated site for environmental workers to transport and process.

This initiative not only enhanced the aesthetics of the Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal road but also delivered a powerful message about marine environmental conservation. The efforts of the young volunteers helped promote sustainable living and reminded the community of its collective responsibility toward the ocean, starting with small actions.
This campaign extends UNIQLO Vietnam's ongoing series of community initiatives, executed in partnership with Hope Foundation. Previous collaborations include building seven schools for children in remote areas, providing aid to flood-affected communities, and offering support during pandemic outbreaks across the country.
