These accidents caused traffic congestion towards Thang Long bridge. Traffic police cordoned off the area to manage the scene and investigate the cause.
The elevated Ring Road 3 is a vital traffic artery in Hanoi, connecting to three expressways and three national highways. It features 10 interchanges and integrated on/off ramps between its elevated and ground-level sections. For many years, this route has been frequently overloaded, especially at major connection points.
