Early this morning, 5 early polling areas across Lam Dong province simultaneously opened for elections for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Election Committee, the areas approved by the National Election Council for early voting include: Mobile Training Battalion two (Ham Tan commune), polling station number 18; Mobile Training Battalion one (Thuan Hanh commune), polling station number 19; Dak Dam Border Guard Station (Thuan An commune), polling station number 20; Dak M'Bai Border Guard Station, polling station number 21; and Nam Na, Dak Ken Border Guard Stations (Dak Wil commune), polling station number 37.

Attending the opening ceremony at Mobile Training Battalion one, Thuan Hanh commune, Mr. Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (HDND), and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Election Committee, stated that early elections were held based on the operational requirements of border guard units stationed in border areas.
According to Mr. Trung, the units fully prepared facilities, decorated polling areas, and intensified public awareness campaigns, creating a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere on election day. "The voting process was serious, in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring democracy and safety," he said.
After the opening ceremony, voters, consisting of officers and soldiers serving at the units, proceeded to cast their votes, selecting individuals with sufficient qualities, capabilities, and credibility to serve in the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the new term.

Earlier, many voters said they had carefully studied the list of candidates to fully exercise their rights and duties.
"I am very proud to fulfill my responsibilities as a citizen and a soldier on this national day," Corporal Dieu Vien, the youngest voter at Dak Ken Border Guard Station, shared.
The election for deputies to Vietnam's 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is scheduled for 15/3. According to the National Election Council, the entire country has 864 candidates for National Assembly deputies across 182 electoral units, electing 500 deputies; including 392 women (45,37%), 188 ethnic minorities (21,76%), and 65 non-party members (7,52%).
At the request of 11 provinces and cities, 218 areas were approved for early voting, primarily in island regions, at sea, and in areas with specific travel conditions.
Specifically in Lam Dong, there are 6 electoral units for National Assembly deputies, electing 17 deputies. The Provincial Election Committee also established 38 electoral units for provincial People's Council deputies to elect 85 deputies; at the commune level, there are 1,004 electoral units, electing 2,949 commune People's Council deputies.
