Car driver causes multi-vehicle accident on Hanoi street, then flees

After hitting two cars on Xa Dan Street in Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward, the driver fled the scene on the afternoon of 23/2.

Around 1:50 PM, a driver operating a four-seater Mercedes sedan with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate was traveling on Xa Dan Street, heading towards O Cho Dua. Upon reaching 360 Xa Dan, the driver unexpectedly struck the side of a four-seater taxi.

After the initial collision, the driver reversed the car into the middle of the road, hitting another taxi, then sped off. One taxi sustained a broken headlight and a dented front right door. The other taxi had scratches on its left side.

According to several witnesses, the driver was a man, and a woman was in the car at the time of the collision.

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Police, along with Road Traffic Police Team 3 of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, arrived to investigate the incident and are searching for the vehicle and the driver responsible for the accident.
