The 14th Party Central Committee approved the policy to rename the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to the Central Propaganda Commission at its third meeting in late July.
The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission was established in February 2025, formed by the merger of the Central Propaganda Commission and the Central Mass Mobilization Commission. This body serves as an advisory organ to the Party Central Committee, and directly and regularly to the Politburo and the Secretariat, concerning propaganda, mass mobilization, and party building in political, ideological, and ethical aspects.
