Da Nang deploys deputy department director to commune as Party Secretary

The Da Nang City Party Committee deployed the deputy director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to Tra Tap commune to serve as Party Secretary after the predecessor was dismissed.

On 5/5, the Da Nang City Party Committee announced decisions from its Standing Board concerning personnel changes in Tra Tap, a mountainous commune. Vo Nhu Toan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, was deployed and appointed as Secretary of the Tra Tap Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

This personnel consolidation follows the disciplinary action taken by the Standing Board of the Da Nang City Party Committee on 28/4, which stripped Ha Ra Dieu, former Secretary of the Tra Tap Commune Party Committee, of all Party positions.

The inspection agency determined that as the head, Ha Ra Dieu bore primary responsibility for violations by the Commune Party Committee's Standing Board. He was deemed to have politically degenerated, violated the principle of democratic centralism, and breached Party member prohibitions.

Nguyen The Anh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tra Lien Commune Party Committee, was deployed to serve as Deputy Secretary of the Tra Tap Commune Party Committee. Anh was also nominated for the Commune People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the Commune People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

On the same day, the city administration reassigned Le Trung Thuc, Chairman of the Tra Tap Commune People's Committee, to the Da Nang Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transport and Agriculture Works. Specific duties will be assigned by the board's Director. Previously, at a Tra Tap Commune People's Council session, Thuc was elected as a People's Council delegate but was not re-elected as Chairman of the Commune People's Committee.

Additionally, Pham Thi My Hanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tra Tap Commune Party Committee, was reassigned to the office of the Da Nang City Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front.
