Around 5:45 AM on 15/10, a male driver was operating a truck on Vinh Loi road (HL 409), heading towards DT 747B in Tan Hiep ward. As he turned right onto DT 747B, moving towards the Kim Hang roundabout, the truck collided with an electric bicycle ridden by a 46-year-old woman from Can Tho.

The victim was pulled under the truck, dragged into the middle of the road, and died at the scene.

A car's dashboard camera recorded the driver getting out, observing the scene, then pulling the woman from under the truck. As he got back into the vehicle, several residents attempted to stop him, urging him to get out, but the driver proceeded to drive away.

Ho Chi Minh City Police sealed off the scene, extracted camera footage, and are searching for the driver to investigate the accident.

The Vinh Loi - DT 747B intersection is located near Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, in the former Tan Uyen area of Binh Duong province. DT 747B serves as a key transportation artery, connecting this region with Thuan An and surrounding industrial zones, facilitating the transport of goods.
