Dien Ban Tay commune police announced on 10/10 that they collaborated with local forces and a bus company to reunite an elderly man from Long Khanh ward, Dong Nai, with his family after he was lost for several days, traveling almost 800 km.
The man, 69, was discovered on 8/10 by security forces and residents in La Huan village. He appeared disoriented and had several injuries, prompting the patrol team to alert the commune police for assistance.

Upon arrival, commune police took the man for health checks, provided medical care, and cleaned his wounds. While awaiting identity verification amid cold, rainy weather, authorities purchased supplies to help him stabilize his health.
Police determined that the man suffers from memory impairment and resides in Long Khanh ward, Dong Nai. He had taken a bus to Dien Ban Tay commune but could not find his way home.
After contacting his family and agreeing on a plan, local police coordinated with a bus company to transport him directly home.
