The fireworks display at West lake began at 9 pm and lasted 15 minutes, featuring 900 racks positioned on the water. The program showcased a combination of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks, surface fireworks, and pyrotechnics synchronized with music.

Unlike previous occasions, the fireworks at Hoan Kiem lake were launched from a single point, located in front of the Hanoi Post Office, Hoan Kiem ward.
Here, the fireworks battle included 1,725 high-altitude shells, 500 low-altitude shells, 50 low-altitude racks, and 350 artistic pyrotechnic racks on the water. Fireworks and pyrotechnics were viewed from the area in front of the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater.

The Hoan Kiem lake fireworks display was also visible from Bo De ward, in the Ngoc Thuy area.
Hanoi experienced no rain with clear skies, but calm winds caused the fireworks smoke to linger and accumulate in the sky after detonation.

From late afternoon, Dinh Tien Hoang street was filled with residents and tourists. In front of Ba Kieu Temple, crowds stood along the lakefront, interspersed with photographers.
