At the accident site, the motorbike was heavily damaged, while the tractor-trailer suffered minor front-end damage. Debris from both vehicles was scattered across the road. Dai Hue commune police immediately dispatched officers to direct traffic and investigate the scene. By early evening, the area was cleared.
The accident occurred on a section of National Highway 46 that is currently undergoing upgrade construction. Although the highway is typically over 12 meters wide, this particular stretch through Dai Hue commune was narrowed to approximately 6 meters, allowing for only one lane of traffic at a time. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
