Hanoi appoints new director for department of science and technology

Cu Ngoc Trang, director of the Hanoi public administration service center, has been reassigned and appointed as the new director of the department of science and technology.

On the afternoon of 13/1, the Hanoi People's Committee held a conference to announce key personnel decisions. A total of 11 individuals were reassigned, appointed, or received into new positions, including the head of the Department of Science and Technology.

Specifically, Cu Ngoc Trang, 42, director of the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center, was reassigned and appointed as the director of the Department of Science and Technology. His predecessor, Nguyen Anh Tuan, 49, was reassigned to the position of vice rector of Hanoi Metropolitan University.

The city also announced the appointment of Nguyen Minh Long, 51, deputy permanent head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Commission, as the new director of the Department of Home Affairs.

Nguyen Ngoc Tu, 42, deputy director of the Hanoi Department of Finance, was appointed director of the Department of Finance.

Nguyen Van Hien, 51, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the School Council of Hanoi National University of Education, was appointed director of the Department of Education and Training.

Nguyen Anh Tuan, 48, chairman of the School Council of Hanoi Metropolitan University, was appointed deputy director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Phan Van Phuc, 51, deputy director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, was appointed deputy director in charge of operating the Public Administration Service Center.

Nguyen Manh Quan, 51, deputy chief of staff of the Hanoi Party Committee, was appointed deputy director of the Department of Home Affairs.

Truong Hai Long, 55, chairman of the Board of Members of Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Corporation, was appointed deputy director of the Department of Construction.

Nguyen Thi Lieu, 51, deputy director in charge of operating the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, was reassigned to work at the Cau Giay Ward Party Committee and People's Council.

Hoang Van Bang, 55, deputy director of the Public Administration Service Center, was reassigned to work at the Office of the Hanoi Party Committee.
