In the Doi Duong - Thuong Chanh area of Phan Thiet ward, two concrete embankment sections were broken. The most severe damage extended over 100 meters behind Vinh Phu church, with handrails uprooted and paving tiles stripped away.
In front of the Bien Dong restaurant, waves also destroyed approximately 50 meters of embankment, creating a hole over 5 square meters wide on the road surface. Water and sand flooded several beachfront restaurants and cafes, damaging tables, chairs, and other furnishings.

Tran Viet Thang, owner of the Bien Dong restaurant, stated he had never witnessed such large waves. "We had to use sandbags and construct temporary barriers to prevent further erosion", he said. The Doi Duong - Thuong Chanh tourist area management board assessed the scene that morning and reported to authorities for a solution.
Approximately 15 kilometers away, the Ham Tien 1 area in Mui Ne ward was also severely impacted. High waves from two days prior caused erosion along about 150 meters of embankment, threatening many households and tourism businesses. Businesses closed and moved their belongings across the road. The Mui Ne Ward People's Committee mobilized forces to temporarily reinforce critical areas.

Last night in Lien Huong, a former Tuy Phong district, a 40-year-old man from Lien Huong commune drowned after his basket boat overturned while he was retrieving a ship's anchor near the port. Border guards and fishermen searched throughout the night without success; search efforts continued on 28/11.
Given the severe weather and high waves, the Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee issued a sea ban starting at 7:00 AM today. It requires all vessels, transport vehicles, tourist boats, and fishing boats to suspend operations until further notice.
