Quang Ninh to host flower avenue for Tet Nguyen Dan

A flower and light technology avenue, approximately one kilometer long, will be organized in Ha Long and Hong Gai wards for Tet Nguyen Dan Binh Ngo 2026.

According to the plan by the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, the flower and light technology avenue will run from 14/2 to 22/2 (from the 27th of the twelfth lunar month until the end of the 6th day of Tet). It will span the route passing through the Planning, Fair, and Exhibition Palace, 30/10 Square, the Provincial Museum, Library, and a flower park.

Under the theme "Quang Ninh - Spring of Heritage, Digital Wonder", the avenue will feature artistic flower arrangements and spring mascots. It will promote Quang Ninh's six core values: distinctive culture, civilized society, transparent administration, developed economy, and happy people.

Along the avenue, the provincial authority will implement digital technology, artistic lighting, and smart interaction. It will offer cultural experience spaces, music, and traditional cuisine. The event will also recreate the cultural spaces of local ethnic groups, highlight miner culture, sea culture, and Yen Tu Truc Lam Buddhist culture.

Leaders of Quang Ninh province stated that the flower avenue aims to create a joyful atmosphere for residents and visitors during Tet Binh Ngo 2026. This initiative is expected to enhance spiritual and cultural life, boost tourism and services, and cultivate a youthful, dynamic image for Quang Ninh's urban areas. The avenue is also anticipated to be a distinctive cultural tourism product and an impressive, attractive highlight for the Tet holiday season.

Additionally, the province will host an art program on 25/1 at 30/10 Square to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 14th National Party Congress. The Quang Ninh OCOP - Spring 2026 fair will also take place from 26/1 to 11/2 (the 19th to the 24th of the lunar month) at the Planning, Fair, and Exhibition Palace.
