At midday on 26/8, a large screen along with sound and lighting systems were set up in a corner of Lac Hong Flower Park in My Tho Ward, Dong Thap Province, ready to serve residents watching the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final between Vietnam and Thailand tonight.
In Tay Ninh, a large screen was also installed at To Quyen Square in Tan Ninh Ward. From 18h30, the venue will host a "Film Night - Live with Football" program, offering more than 1,000 seats for people to watch a movie before the final match.

In Dong Nai, a large screen was installed at Duong Tu Giang Park. In addition to broadcasting the match live, the ward is organizing music concerts, audience interactions, and flare displays to support the Vietnam national team.
"Around 3,000 people are expected to attend, and security, order, and stage preparations are largely complete", said Luu Thi Hang, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Tam Hiep Ward.

In Ho Chi Minh City (TP HCM), since 16/8, five LED screens, 7 meters high and 12 meters wide, have been installed on Nguyen Hue Walking Street to serve fans during the Vietnam - Malaysia semi-final match. In recent days, this area has attracted many residents and foreign tourists who came to show their support.

In Binh Duong Province, Dong Hoa Ward prepared a large LED screen and sound system to broadcast the final live at Dong Hoa Stadium on Hai Ba Trung Street.
Di An Ward installed an LED screen at the Administrative Center Square on street number 9. Screens measuring 400-600 inches were also set up at 30/4 Square (Ben Cat Ward), Bach Dang Park (Thu Dau Mot Ward), and Hac Dich Resettlement Park (Tan Thanh Ward).
Some localities in Da Nang and Ha Tinh also installed large LED screens for fans to watch the match.
The second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final between the Vietnam national team and Thailand will take place at 20h tonight. Vietnam currently holds an advantage after winning 2-0 in the first leg played away.
This marks the third consecutive time the two teams have met in the Southeast Asian championship final. In 2022, under coach Park Hang-seo, Vietnam drew 2-2 with Thailand at My Dinh before losing 0-1 at Thammasat. Two years later, under Kim Sang-sik, Vietnam won both legs, 2-1 in Phu Tho and 3-2 in Rajamangala, respectively.
