Launch of the propaganda and mass mobilization application

The propaganda and mass mobilization application for smartphones aims to disseminate Party policies and guidelines, while also helping authorities promptly gauge public opinion.

On the morning of 16/1, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission launched the "Tuyen Giao va Dan Van" (TGDV) mobile application. Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Lai Xuan Mon, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission Nguyen Thanh Tam, and Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung performed the button-pressing ceremony to officially release the application.

The TGDV application provides official information on Party policies and guidelines. It also serves as a channel for receiving and processing feedback from officials, Party members, and the public, contributing to policy refinement and fostering development.

Beyond news and a system of guiding documents and directives, the application integrates multimedia content such as videos, images, and podcasts. It also offers utilities including public opinion polls, feedback submission, digital learning, political theory resources, speaker reports, and traffic fine lookups. The app features a virtual assistant to help officials, Party members, and the public easily search for information.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stated that the introduction of the TGDV application is not just a technological event but a concrete demonstration of the Party's innovative leadership methods in the digital era. The application's release comes at a time when there is a need to enhance the provision of official, accurate, and timely information, proactively guide ideology, consolidate trust, and foster high unity within the Party and social consensus.

The Permanent member of the Secretariat expressed hope that the application would become an official, reliable information channel, helping to quickly, visually, vividly, and accessibly convey the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws to officials, Party members, and the public. He also noted that it is a tool to support ideological work, gauge public opinion, and understand the aspirations of the people. It will facilitate early detection of new, sensitive issues arising at the grassroots level, enabling effective propaganda, mobilization, and persuasion solutions.

He urged the propaganda and mass mobilization sector to operate the application effectively, continue to innovate communication methods, not just provide one-way information but enhance interaction, listening, and dialogue. The highest goal, he emphasized, should be the effectiveness of ideological guidance and the creation of social consensus.
