The Central Internal Affairs Commission serves as an advisory body to the Central Committee of the Communist Party, and directly to the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Central Committee. It provides counsel on major policies related to internal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-wastefulness, anti-negativity, and judicial reform. The commission also acts as the Party's specialized agency for internal affairs and is the standing body for both the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negativity and the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform.
