The Vietnam Fatherland Front's Central Relief Mobilization Committee has recorded 2,088.5 billion VND in pledges for disaster relief. As of 17h on 25/11, over 1,05 million individuals and nearly 61,000 businesses have contributed through the committee. Of this total, 1,118.5 billion VND was directly transferred by various units to affected localities, while over 970 billion VND was sent via bank transfers or direct cash to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.
Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Social Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, affirmed that all donated funds from ministries, agencies, and people nationwide will reach flood-affected provinces promptly. Since October, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees in 34 provinces and cities have launched local support programs, directly channeling aid to impacted areas. By 24/11, the entire Vietnam Fatherland Front system had mobilized over 3,200 billion VND.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee has disbursed 678 billion VND in nine installments through relief accounts or Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees in 23 provinces and cities. Major recipients include: Gia Lai (45 billion VND), Dak Lak (40 billion VND), Khanh Hoa (20 billion VND), Lam Dong (20 billion VND), Ninh Binh (25.5 billion VND), Thanh Hoa (25.5 billion VND), Nghe An (40.5 billion VND), Ha Tinh (40.5 billion VND), Quang Tri (55.5 billion VND), Hue (40 billion VND), Da Nang (40 billion VND), Quang Ngai (35 billion VND), Thai Nguyen (45 billion VND), Cao Bang (35 billion VND), Tuyen Quang (35 billion VND), and Lang Son (30.5 billion VND). Some less affected localities received between 5 and 25 billion VND, such as: Bac Ninh, Lao Cai, Son La, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, and Hung Yen.
In addition to the committee's efforts, many localities and units directly allocated 118.5 billion VND to disaster-stricken areas. VinGroup, through its Thien Tam Fund, has disbursed over 350 billion VND for relief efforts.
According to the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority, natural disasters this year have caused 409 deaths and disappearances, and 727 injuries. Over 3,700 homes collapsed, and more than 333,500 homes were damaged. Agricultural losses include over 553,000 hectares of rice, 376,000 hectares of other crops, 6.9 million poultry, over 50,000 livestock, 197,000 fish cages, and nearly 59,000 hectares of aquaculture.
From 15 to 21/11, the South Central region experienced exceptionally heavy rainfall, with 300-600 mm recorded generally. Some areas, like Song Hinh, saw 1,861 mm, and Hoa My Tay (Dak Lak) received 1,575 mm. Floods in the Ba River and Dinh River surpassed historical levels, leading to 102 deaths and disappearances, over 200,000 submerged homes, and economic damage exceeding 13,200 billion VND.
