Each boarding student receives 15 kg of rice per month, while semi-boarding students receive 8 kg of rice per month. Additionally, boarding students receive 1,170,000 VND per month for living expenses, and semi-boarding students receive 450,000 VND per month. The school's 751 students include 175 boarding and 576 semi-boarding students. Staff, guards, and non-teaching teachers were mobilized to distribute the rice and money to parents and students.
The distribution is a temporary measure because the school's dining hall is not yet completed. According to Principal Tien, starting in november, after the dining hall and dormitories are finished, students will be provided meals and accommodation at the school. Consequently, they will no longer receive this direct financial and rice aid.
Principal Tien emphasized the importance of this initiative. "Providing support to boarding and semi-boarding students not only helps ensure suitable learning conditions but also creates additional motivation for them to continue attending school, reducing the risk of dropping out due to difficult circumstances", Tien said.
