Rising king tides caused severe flooding at a riverside restaurant, spanning approximately 4,000 square meters, located in Thanh Da, Binh Quoi ward.
The restaurant, which opened one month ago, had already built brick perimeters. However, a representative stated that water still overflowed into its garden premises. Even after staff constructed sandbag barriers, the water continued to surge over them.
Over a hundred sandbags formed a barrier nearly one meter high, but river water still overflowed.
Floodwaters, over 30 cm deep at the restaurant's entrance, impacted business. Staff members waded through the water to work, and many customers with reservations removed their shoes to walk barefoot to their tables upon arrival.

The restaurant's parking lot was also deeply submerged, requiring staff to move motorcycles to higher ground to prevent damage.

At the Phu An and Nha Be stations, water levels reached 1.7-1.8 m, 10-20 cm above alert level 3. At the Thu Dau Mot station, levels soared to 1.9-1.95 m, exceeding alert level 3 by 30-35 cm, marking the highest level recorded to date. The peak tide was observed between 16:00 and 18:00.
