Passenger bus collides with semi-trailer on expressway, 9 injured

A passenger bus carrying over 10 people on the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway rear-ended a semi-trailer transporting iron frames, injuring nine people on the evening of 21/6.

Around 8:15 p.m., a passenger bus with Bac Ninh license plates was traveling northbound on the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway. Near the Ky Trung intersection in Ky Van commune, the bus suddenly struck the rear of a semi-trailer carrying iron frames that was traveling ahead.

The strong impact embedded the front of the bus into the iron frames at the rear of the semi-trailer. Nine people sustained injuries, with one victim trapped inside the bus cabin.
