Plenary discussion at the 14th National Party Congress

On the morning of 21/1, the 14th National Party Congress heard presentations from leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities, contributing feedback to finalize draft documents, focusing on major orientations and solutions to achieve new term objectives.

On the morning of 21/1, President Luong Cuong chaired the plenary discussion on the draft documents submitted to the Congress.

The system of draft documents presented to the Congress includes: the Draft Political Report of the 13th Central Party Committee; the Draft Report on the Review of Theoretical and Practical Issues of the Doi Moi (renewal) process towards socialism in Vietnam over the past 40 years; and the Draft Report reviewing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025) and proposing orientations for amending and supplementing the Party Charter.

Specifically, the Draft Political Report integrates three reports: the Political Report, the Socio-Economic Report, and the Report on Party building work, forming a unified, comprehensive, focused, concise, easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember, and easy-to-implement document.

Nguyen Thi Thanh, Central Party Committee member, Standing Committee member of the National Assembly Party Committee, Deputy Chairwoman of the National Assembly, discussed: Enhancing the Party and people's nature in National Assembly activities to meet the requirements of perfecting national development institutions in the new era.

Ha Thi Nga, Central Party Committee member, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Central Fatherland Front Party Committee and mass organizations, Deputy Chairwoman, General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, discussed: Promoting the strength of national unity – a foundation and important driving force for successfully implementing national development goals.

Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Commission, discussed: Building and perfecting the organizational apparatus of the political system to meet national development requirements in the new era.

Lai Xuan Mon, Central Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, discussed: Political and ideological work in the new era.

Nguyen Anh Tuan, Central Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, discussed: Strategic solutions for double-digit economic growth in the new 2026-2030 period.

Nguyen Manh Hung, Central Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Science and Technology, discussed: Breakthrough solutions for developing science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation to become a key driver for establishing a new growth model and sustainable national development.
