Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged the full completion of the "Quang Trung campaign" by 15/1/2026, aiming for a resounding success to mark the 14th Party Congress. This campaign, launched in late September, focuses on rebuilding and repairing homes damaged by the worst floods and storms in decades, which struck central Vietnamese provinces from Ha Tinh to Lam Dong in late 2025. During a 30/12 meeting to review the campaign's progress, the Prime Minister emphasized that while it is a campaign without gunfire, it must achieve a decisive victory. To date, 34,759 damaged homes have been repaired. Of the 1,597 homes requiring new construction, all have been started, with 671 already completed and 42% overall finished. The commitment is to complete these by 25/1/2026.

To further shorten the construction time for new homes, the Prime Minister urged provinces to "capitalize on success and press forward." He specifically called on Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces to mobilize all forces, including: the entire political system, the Fatherland Front, social-political organizations, people's businesses, police, army, self-defense militia, and youth, to join hands and contribute to completing the entire "Quang Trung campaign" by 15/1/2026.
In addition to accelerating the "Quang Trung campaign," local authorities are tasked with providing residents with basic living necessities, as well as seedlings and livestock to restore farming and animal husbandry. The head of government stressed that financial aid to residents must be transparent, guarding against waste and corruption.
