Lang Co Village Resort, a 6-hectare property with approximately 40 rooms, is located in the heart of Lang Co Bay, on Lac Long Quan street in Chan May - Lang Co commune. Originally the Lang Co Trade Union Hotel, Phong Huy Real Estate Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City upgraded it into a high-end resort in 2011.

In 2021, Lang Co Village Resort ceased operations due to ineffective business, and the project owner's assets were frozen. Abandoned for years, most of the roof tiles are damaged, and rainwater has seeped in, harming the internal structures.

The door systems in the guest rooms have been dismantled. Before ceasing operations, Lang Co Village Resort was highly praised by many tourists for its green spaces, convenient swimming pool, and prime location near Lang Co Bay. From the resort, guests could walk about 100 meters to Lap An Lagoon to enjoy seafood and scenery.

The three-story building, once a restaurant area, is now dilapidated, its vaulted roof riddled with holes, and surrounded by overgrown vegetation. Doors and internal equipment have been dismantled.

Many wooden components and roof frames of the structures are severely damaged and beyond reuse.

A cone-shaped gazebo is no longer intact, with vegetation encroaching on its path.

Inside the structures, broken tiles are scattered. Dishes are piled up, covered in dirt and sand.

About 2 kilometers from Lang Co Village Resort, the Six Miles Coast Resort, a commercial, villa, and resort apartment complex owned by Minh Vien International Joint Stock Company (JSC), has also been abandoned for many years.

According to the investor's commitment, with a capital of over 2 billion USD, Six Miles Coast Resort was planned for six phases and diverse property types. In phase one, on a total area of over 1,200 square meters and with an investment of 368 million USD, the investor built 242 luxurious, sea-facing resort villas.

In 2019, Six Miles Coast Resort operated for a short period before halting due to the Covid-19 pandemic and has been abandoned ever since.

According to the Hue City Industrial Economic Zone Management Board, Chan May - Lang Co commune currently has two resort projects operating inefficiently and thus temporarily suspended operations: Xanh Lang Co Resort and Lang Co Village Resort. Among these, Lang Co Village Resort's assets are frozen and cannot be transferred or sold as requested by the Ministry of Public Security.

As for the Six Miles Coast Resort project by Minh Vien International JSC, after many years of abandonment, the investor is completing procedures to resume implementation.
