Scaffolding collapses at Phu Tho Stadium, one dead

During renovation work at Phu Tho Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, scaffolding unexpectedly collapsed, killing one person and injuring another.

On the afternoon of 17/12, a group of workers was erecting scaffolding over 5 meters high for renovation work within the Phu Tho Stadium complex in Ho Chi Minh City's District 10.

The scaffolding suddenly lost its balance and collapsed. The workers fell to the ground, resulting in a man in his 30s dying at the scene. Another person sustained serious injuries and became trapped within the metal scaffolding frames.

Ho Chi Minh City Fire and Rescue Police quickly arrived at the site. They worked to lift the collapsed metal frames to free the trapped victim.
