At approximately 11h15, a tanker truck carrying 19 cubic meters of gasoline ignited shortly after leaving warehouse A of the Nha Be petroleum depot onto Duong Cat Loi street in Nha Be commune. Flames engulfed the vehicle and spread to a rice cracker production factory, spanning about 500 square meters. |

The fire from the tanker truck engulfed the vehicle, a power pole, and a low-voltage electrical cabinet by the roadside before spreading to the factory. |
The Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched 8 fire trucks along with over 50 officers and soldiers to the scene to control the blaze. A seven-seat car parked on the sidewalk also caught fire and was damaged.
Firefighters deployed hoses to extinguish the fire inside the factory while simultaneously working to contain it and prevent it from spreading to adjacent areas. 6 fire trucks were stationed along the road.

The rice cracker factory collapsed. The intense heat warped the steel frame of the workshop.
By approximately 12h, the fire was brought under control; however, the tanker truck was reduced to its frame, and a nearby seven-seat car was also incinerated by the flames.
Local residents observed the fire.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the damage.
