Military training aircraft experiences incident, pilot escapes

A training aircraft experienced an incident, prompting the pilot to steer it away from residential areas before ejecting and being rescued by local residents.

A pilot successfully ejected from a military training aircraft after it developed a technical malfunction during a flight on the morning of 28/1. The incident occurred in the border area between Hoa Xuan commune and Dong Hoa ward in Dak Lak province.

Upon detecting the technical issue, which prevented a normal landing, the pilot deliberately directed the aircraft towards a hilly and mountainous area, ensuring it was clear of residential zones. This quick thinking minimized potential harm to civilians on the ground.

After the pilot ejected and landed safely, local residents and authorities swiftly responded. They provided immediate first aid before rushing the pilot to emergency care, ensuring prompt medical attention.

According to VNA.
