Taxi carrying ba people crushed by truck, driver dies

A taxi transporting ba individuals collided with a truck near Truong Xuan market (formerly Dak Nong), resulting in the immediate death of the driver and injuries to hai passengers.

Around midnight on 9/4, Nguyen Hoai, 32, from Thuan Hanh commune, drove a taxi with an old Dak Nong license plate. He was carrying hai passengers through the Truong Xuan market area. Near the market entrance, the taxi collided with a Ho Chi Minh City-licensed truck traveling in the opposite direction.

The powerful impact crushed the taxi's front end, pinning it against the truck. Both vehicles then crashed into market stalls before stopping. Hearing the loud crash, nearby residents rushed to the scene, broke open the doors, and extracted the trapped victims from the taxi.

Le Xuan Thuan, Chairman of Truong Xuan Commune People's Committee, stated that the taxi driver died instantly. Hai passengers in the back were injured and taken to emergency care. Ba individuals in the truck were unharmed.

Early the same morning, Lam Dong province authorities inspected the scene and began investigating the cause of the accident.
