Hanoi is abuzz with festive decorations as it prepares to host the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, scheduled from 19/1 to 25/1. Numerous streets, from the city center to the suburbs, are adorned with flags, flowers, billboards, and posters, creating a vibrant atmosphere across the capital.

The National Convention Center, the designated venue for the Congress, is fully prepared to welcome delegates. Its main gate is complete, and the area outside the main entrance is tastefully decorated with flowers and miniature landscapes, establishing a solemn space. Inside the convention center, all organizational preparations are finalized.

Iconic locations across the city, including Hoan Kiem Lake and the Hanoi People's Committee headquarters, are adorned with celebratory displays. The Hoan Kiem Lake area, specifically along Dinh Tien Hoang, Hang Khay, and Trang Tien streets, features a synchronized display of banners, slogans, national flags, and Party flags, prominently decorating the street fronts and drawing the attention of residents and tourists alike.

Major boulevards and strategic intersections feature prominent decorative elements, enhancing the city's festive ambiance. Key areas such as Ba Dinh Square and major roads like Hung Vuong and Phan Dinh Phung, near the Hanoi Flag Tower, display large billboards, banners, and hammer and sickle symbols. Similar arrangements are found at the Dien Bien Phu - Doc Lap - Chu Van An intersection. On major routes like Thang Long Boulevard, Vo Chi Cong, Pham Van Dong, and Ring Road 3, clusters of flags, pennants, and propaganda signs are installed, serving as focal points at intersections and gateway areas. These decorations are integrated with the traffic management plan for the Congress.
