Around 9 p.m. on 20/12, three teenagers residing in An Chau commune were riding a motorbike from the Hau Hoa parish area towards An Chau commune. Upon reaching the inter-commune concrete road bordering the former Dien Loc and Dien Tan areas, the motorbike suddenly collided head-on with a small oncoming truck that was turning left into a residential property.

The powerful impact threw one teenager into the middle of the road, while the other two were flung onto a roadside fence. As a result, Khanh, 15 years old, died at the scene. The two 13-year-old teenagers sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Nghe An General Friendship Hospital for emergency treatment. The truck driver was unharmed.
At the scene, the motorbike was completely destroyed, with debris scattered across the road. The truck sustained damage to its front. The accident occurred on a road over 6 meters wide, featuring many small alleys, with no public streetlights, and illumination primarily from houses on both sides.

Initially, authorities determined that the motorbike carrying the three teenagers was traveling at high speed, giving the truck driver no time to react. A scene investigation found no helmets belonging to the motorbike riders.
On the morning of 21/12, An Chau Commune Police are coordinating with Nghe An Provincial Police to investigate the cause of the accident.
