The Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) announced that the temporary ban will be in effect from 19-25/1, during four daily time frames: 6 AM to 8 AM, 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 1 PM to 2 PM, and 4 PM to 6 PM.
During these specified hours, restricted vehicles will not be permitted to travel on routes and sections leading towards Hanoi. This includes interchanges on the Hanoi - Ninh Binh, Hanoi - Hai Phong, Hanoi - Thai Nguyen, and Hanoi - Lao Cai expressways, as well as national highways serving as gateways to the capital.
Specifically, on the elevated Ring Road 3, from Thang Long Bridge to the National Highway 5A interchange, trucks weighing 10 tons or more will be temporarily prohibited from 6 AM to 9 PM throughout the Congress. Exemptions apply to vehicles serving the Congress, those with security badges, official duty vehicles, and other priority vehicles.

The Traffic Police Department advises drivers of these vehicles to proactively follow traffic diversion routes and avoid entering Hanoi's inner city during the enforcement period.
