Tran Anh Tuan and Phan Van Trong appointed assistants to the Prime Minister

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung appointed Tran Anh Tuan and Phan Van Trong as his assistants, effective 14/5.

Tran Anh Tuan, 51, from Hanoi, holds a Master's degree in Asset Management from Singapore. He began his career at the International Cooperation Department of the former Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs before joining the State Bank of Vietnam in 1997.

At the State Bank of Vietnam, Tuan held various roles within the International Cooperation Department, progressing from specialist to head of division. He later served as Chief of Office and Director General of the Organization and Personnel Department. In 10/2024, the Secretariat appointed him Assistant to Le Minh Hung, then Head of the Central Organization Commission.

Phan Van Trong, 49, from Vinh Phuc, now Phu Tho province, holds a Bachelor of Law and is a Cryptography Engineer.

Trong previously worked at the Party Central Office, assisting the Chief of the Party Central Office. He then served as Deputy Director General of the Secretariat Department and Secretary to the Chief of the Party Central Office.

From 7/2024, Phan Van Trong served as secretary to Le Minh Hung, then Head of the Central Organization Commission.

On the same day, 14/5, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung also appointed Le Hoang Tung as Assistant to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc. Tung previously served as assistant to former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
