Two people rescued from burning house in Hanoi

Firefighters promptly rescued two individuals trapped inside a four-story house engulfed in flames in Binh Minh commune during the early hours of 7/4.

Hanoi firefighters successfully rescued two individuals, including an elderly man, who were trapped in a four-story house engulfed in flames in Binh Minh commune on 7/4. The fire erupted around 1:15 AM on the ground floor of the approximately 60 square meter residence, which also featured a rooftop extension, located in Thuong village.

The ground floor of the affected property operated as a mobile phone accessory business. The blaze rapidly ascended from this level to the upper stories, producing dense smoke and toxic fumes that obstructed all potential escape routes.

The Hanoi Public Security Command Information Center deployed 4 fire trucks from regional teams 4 and 33, alongside 24 officers and soldiers, to the incident site.

Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus and specialized gear, ascended to the upper floors to locate and rescue the victims. Concurrently, they initiated firefighting operations from multiple directions, preventing the flames from extending to adjacent properties.

By approximately 1:45 AM, the fire was brought under control, and the two trapped individuals were safely evacuated. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
