The Government Office announced on 14/5 the conclusions of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung from a steering committee meeting. The meeting focused on the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and Project 06.

The prime minister tasked the Ministry of Construction with developing a product list for transport infrastructure, including high-speed rail, urban rail, smart cities, and smart transport. This list is due by june.

The Ministry of Public Security is responsible for developing VNeID into a national digital platform. This involves expanding its utilities to serve public services, particularly in healthcare, education, transport, justice, enforcement, asset auctions, and social security.

By the end of 2025, over 65 million VNeID accounts were activated nationwide. The application had integrated six categories of documents, including 18,7 million driver's licenses and 7 million vehicle registrations.

Currently, the application integrates various citizen documents, such as: ID cards, health insurance cards, phone numbers, insurance policies, academic degrees, certificates, school records, transport tickets, driver's license points, driver's licenses, residential information, dependent details, social insurance, passports, tax information, and marital status.

Citizens can use VNeID to present necessary identification for services, replacing traditional paper documents. The application also allows users to update and integrate required documents themselves.
