Around 11:50 h, the plastic warehouse on 23/10 street suddenly caught fire. The doors were closed, and no one was inside. Residents living nearby heard several explosions and saw thick black smoke rising. They shouted for help, attempted to extinguish the fire, and alerted authorities.
"My house is right next to a wood workshop, and the smoke and flames were intense," said a 60-year-old man living near the scene. "I feared the fire would spread, so I only managed to grab a few belongings before running out."

Within minutes, flames engulfed most of the warehouse. Thick black smoke billowed near the road, prompting many nearby residents to evacuate.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial Police fire and rescue force dispatched about 5 specialized vehicles and dozens of officers to the scene. Firefighters formed multiple teams, breaking through roller doors and deploying hoses to spray water from various directions to bring the blaze under control.

By approximately 12:30 h, the fire was largely extinguished. Many assets inside the warehouse were destroyed, though no casualties were reported.
Authorities are currently assessing the damage and investigating the cause.
