According to a 10 p.m. report on 15/3 from the National Election Council, the total number of eligible voters nationwide was 76,516,637. Of these, 76,043,527 voters participated, achieving a turnout of 99,38%.
Lao Cai province was the first locality to complete voting by 5:45 p.m. It, along with Hue City, were two of 34 localities that achieved 100% voter turnout. Notably, Lao Cai province had 173 voters aged 100 or older, comprising 31 men and 142 women.
Most localities reported voter turnouts exceeding 99%, including: Ha Tinh 99,99%; Lai Chau 99,97%; Tuyen Quang 99,96%; Hue 99,92%; Dien Bien 99,91%; Lang Son 99,82%; Thai Nguyen 99,82%; Ca Mau 99,81%; Vinh Long 99,67%; Can Tho 99,35%; Nghe An 99,34%; Da Nang 99,92%; Tay Ninh 99,04%; Gia Lai 99,02%; and Quang Ngai 99,01%.
No electoral unit reported a voter participation rate below 50%.
The National Election Council stated that a preliminary assessment indicated that most provinces in the northern mountainous region, despite challenging terrains, saw very active voter participation, completing their elections early with high turnout rates.

By the election's conclusion at 7 p.m., polling stations nationwide maintained stability and order, strictly adhering to election laws. The active participation of voters "demonstrated a deep awareness of the value of their ballot".
After voting hours concluded, election teams sealed ballot boxes and proceeded with vote counting and on-site result tabulation. According to the National Election Council's plan, the results for National Assembly and People's Council elections at all levels are expected to be announced on 22/3.
Subsequently, the Council will hold a public press conference to widely inform the public.
