Around 6 AM, residents discovered fire and smoke emanating from the Anh Ngoc Trading Co. Ltd. (branch 2) warehouse on National Highway 91, prompting them to raise an alarm. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the interior.

The warehouse, filled with fabric scraps, plastic waste, and other flammable materials, fueled a powerful blaze, sending thick black smoke dozens of meters into the sky.

The warehouse owner and nearby residents attempted to put out the flames with fire extinguishers and on-site equipment, but their efforts were ineffective. Upon receiving the report, fire police dispatched multiple specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene, spraying water from various directions.

Ms. Nam, who runs a drink stall near the warehouse, recounted that the fire erupted fiercely, accompanied by several loud explosions. A household adjacent to the warehouse closed their doors during the blaze, with neighbors assisting them in moving vehicles and belongings to safety.

With the warehouse situated in a residential area, locals expressed concern that the fire might spread to neighboring homes. By approximately 9 AM, the blaze was largely under control, though dense smoke persisted. Police continued to spray water for cooling and to address smoldering areas inside.

A leader from An Chau commune confirmed that there were no injuries. The warehouse and much of its contents suffered significant damage. The cause of the fire and the full extent of the damage are currently under investigation by authorities.
