The commune reported at least 5 locations flooded 0,8-1,2 m deep, with water entering homes. Authorities organized the evacuation of more than 40 households to safe areas, while also helping to elevate and move property to minimize damage.
Nguyen Thi Nguyet, a resident of village 9, Loc Duc, shared that her family and many other households have lived there for decades, but this is the first time they have witnessed floodwaters rise so high, reaching waist-deep.
According to Nguyet, when floodwaters inundated homes, police, militia, and commune leaders quickly arrived to assist residents in moving people and property.
In addition to villages 8 and 9, heavy rain also caused flooding in Tan Lac 11 and Tan Lac 12 villages. Bao Lam 2 People's Committee has not recorded any human casualties.

In B'Lao ward, heavy rain also caused stream water to overflow into homes in low-lying areas, with some spots on Au Co street flooded about 1,2 m deep. Military forces, in coordination with police, blocked areas where water overflowed onto roads, assisting residents with movement and elevating property.
Water inundated the Doi Dep tourist area, forcing 30 tourists to evacuate. Many homes along national highway 20, Au Co street, and other residential areas were flooded, resulting in damaged property, 1,000 flower pots, and 30 coffee seedlings.
In September, continuous heavy rains caused flooding and landslides in many areas of Lam Dong. On D'ran Pass, earth and rocks spilled from hillsides onto the road, while Prenn Pass experienced multiple landslides, prompting the province to declare an emergency. In Quang Son commune, the earthen hill showed numerous cracks and subsidence. In the old Binh Thuan area, thousands of homes and gardens were submerged when irrigation reservoirs discharged water to regulate floods.
