After more than one day of her family searching along the road without success, Mrs. Lan reported the loss to the police. Authorities reviewed the area, identified the individual who found the gold, and encouraged them to hand it over. This individual subsequently voluntarily surrendered the gold.
Upon recovering all her assets, Mrs. Lan shared that this gold represented her family's savings accumulated over many years. "Losing it so close to Tet, I was very distraught. I never expected the police officers to find it so quickly; I am incredibly grateful," she said.
