"Kim Ma 4.0" mascot creates a highlight on Da Nang's Tet flower street

The "Kim Ma 4.0" at the Dragon Bridge's tail, designed in a contemporary style with strong lines and technology-inspired details, stands as the most impressive spring flower display among 14 Tet decorations in Da Nang.

For Tet Binh Ngo, Da Nang city has decorated 14 locations with mascot dioramas and spring flowers, inviting residents and tourists to check in and enjoy the scenery. The two largest-scale decoration points are located in the walking garden west of Dragon Bridge.

On the morning of 14/2, the city officially opened these Tet decoration sites for public viewing.

Among these, the "Kim Ma 4.0" horse mascot display, situated west of Dragon Bridge, has attracted the most residents and visitors.

The sculpture, standing 4,3 m tall, 5,1 m long, and with a base 2,6 m wide, is crafted in a contemporary style with a futuristic touch. It features sharp, clean blocks, strong lines, and intricate details that evoke robotics and advanced technology.

"I am very impressed with this mascot because of its beauty and strength. The horse's body has many striking technological details, aligning with Da Nang's strategy to become one of three leading centers in Vietnam for microchip design and AI", said Ms. Hoai, a resident of Thanh Khe ward.

Residents and tourists flocked to take photos with "Kim Ma 4.0". The artwork was created by artisan Dinh Van Tam from Quang Tri.

The "Kim Ma 4.0" decoration cluster as seen from Dragon Bridge. In the days leading up to Tet, Da Nang experienced mild sunshine with temperatures around 24 degrees C.

The Kim Ma conveys the city's development orientation message in the era of digital transformation. The mascot can also rotate 360 degrees, creating an additional visual effect. At night, the mascot illuminates and performs its 360-degree rotation. Evenings before the opening, many people came to check in.

At the diorama opposite the "Kim Ma 4.0" mascot, a traditional horse mascot depicts the legendary Thanh Giong riding his horse to the heavens after defeating the An invaders.

Also located along the west bank of the Han River, the "Kim Ma Hop Nhat" (United Golden Horse) mascot, painted gold and placed in front of the T-shaped bridge opposite the Da Nang Museum, also made a strong impression. The mascot stands nearly 4 m tall, its body assembled from blocks engraved with the name Da Nang and its 94 communes and wards, following administrative restructuring.

Many families in Da Nang visited to find the names of their wards and communes on the "Kim Ma Hop Nhat" mascot and capture commemorative photos.

Another Tet decoration point is located at the head of Dragon Bridge, on the east bank of the Han River. During the morning opening, the sunny weather meant fewer people were out enjoying the spring festivities early. These check-in points are expected to be crowded in the coming days.
