Around 0:30, Khang, 21, was driving a van transporting vegetables from Hoc Mon agricultural wholesale market to his company in Vinh Loc industrial park. Upon reaching the Nguyen Anh Thu - Phan Van Hon intersection in Ba Diem commune, his vehicle was blocked by four young individuals on motorbikes.

The group loudly cursed and demanded the driver exit the vehicle. Fearing assault, Khang remained in the cabin. Subsequently, one young person used a helmet to smash the car's window before the group departed. The entire incident lasted about two minutes and was recorded by residents.

According to Khang, he had honked his horn earlier after noticing the group riding motorbikes abreast, encroaching into the car lane. Approximately one kilometer later, his vehicle was blocked and vandalized.

The incident resulted in a broken car window and a dented front section of the vehicle. The driver reported the matter to the authorities. Ba Diem commune police are currently verifying and investigating the incident.

Since 2025, TP HCM has intensified efforts to handle cases of assault and fighting stemming from road collisions and disputes, aiming for deterrence. Many offenders have been arrested and prosecuted by the police.
