The 21km half marathon distance attracted the most athletes, accounting for over 52% of registrations and being the only distance to secure more than half. The 10km distance followed with nearly 22%, then the 42km with over 15%, and the 5km with over 11%.
The two long distances, 21km and 42km, together comprised 67% of registrations, double that of the 5km and 10km groups. This proportion highlights the appeal of endurance distances at the capital's night race. For runners targeting longer distances, early registration also allows them to establish training plans and accumulate mileage months before race day.
Vietnamese runners made up 95% of registrations. Among international nationalities, South Korea had the most participants, followed by Japan and the Philippines. India and China each had over ten registered individuals.

Unlike marathons held in the early morning, VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight brings runners to the course as the city lights up. This is a unique characteristic of the race, requiring runners to prepare their routines, nutrition, and physical fitness before the start.
With four distances: 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km, the race caters to various groups of athletes, from beginners to experienced long-distance runners. Beyond performance goals, the event also provides an opportunity for running clubs and groups to meet and explore Hanoi from a different perspective.
After the Early Bird phase, the race transitioned to the Regular phase from 16/10 to 6/11, with bib prices ranging from 620,000 VND to 1,150,000 VND. The Late phase will run from 7 to 9/11. Runners can register here.
