Home runners energized ahead of VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang

Nha Trang Runners (NTRU) held a light 3 km training session on the morning of 7/8, as hundreds of members prepared to conquer the 5th season of VM Nha Trang.

The final light training session before VM Nha Trang began at 4:45 am, just as dawn was breaking. Dozens of club members gathered at 2/4 Square to warm up, guided by Nguyen Dinh Som, the club leader.

The warm-up process was slow and lasted 30 minutes. With only two days until the race, the warm-up was thorough, designed to help members achieve a certain readiness and better adapt to race conditions.

Around 5:30 am, the run began. Members were divided into several groups, completing a journey of about 3 km from 2/4 Square, passing through several inner-city streets.

Nguyen Dinh Som, the club's representative, stated that the training session held significant importance, serving as a dress rehearsal before Nha Trang's major running event. Consequently, all members were serious and focused on the activity.

During the run, the sun had not yet risen, and the temperature was pleasant. The race day on 9/8 is also forecast to have similar weather conditions, helping runners acclimate better.

During the run, home runners also experienced the newly launched Puma Deviate Pure Nitro shoe line. The product is lightweight, equipped with exclusive technologies, and designed for both training and daily wear.

NTRU also interacted with other running communities who arrived early in Nha Trang. According to Nguyen Dinh Som (far left), this activity helps connect sports enthusiasts, bridge gaps, and foster a positive spirit before the event begins.

The club's representative stated that for the 5th season, an estimated 1,000 people living in Khanh Hoa are participating. Therefore, demonstrating the host's hospitality and fair play is crucial.

"We want to leave a positive impression that Nha Trang is a wonderful place for running, connecting, interacting, and tourism", NTRU's representative affirmed.
