Cherry blossoms bloom across Da Lat's mountain town

Thousands of cherry blossom trees are in full bloom from the city center to the outskirts, painting many streets in Da Lat's mountain town pink.

In the days leading up to Tet, cherry blossoms, the highland's spring flowers, burst into vibrant pink across Da Lat, from its bustling center to its serene outskirts.

The hill in the Xuan Tho area is awash with cherry blossoms. Mr. Hung, 85, a local resident, stated that these trees were planted about 5 to 10 years ago in his garden, in front of his house.

Da Lat's cherry blossoms boast a deep pink hue, reaching their peak beauty in the first two weeks of blooming before the trees begin to leaf out.

An ancient cluster of cherry blossoms stands beside Xuan Huong Lake. Local residents say the blossoms are expected to last until the lunar new year Binh Ngo 2026.

Early mornings by Xuan Huong Lake see many people exercising in warm clothes and taking photos beside the cherry blossom trees.

"Visiting Da Lat this season means seeing flowers everywhere, but I still prefer the blossoms by the lake", Bich Thuy, a tourist from TP HCM, said.

4 cherry blossom trees bloom vibrantly in the Nha tho Cau Dat area, located 20 km from Da Lat's center. In addition to these, an ancient cherry blossom tree right at the church gate has also bloomed.

Cherry blossoms bloom around an old villa on Da Lat's outskirts. This area features villas nearly 100 years old, built before 1945.

Cherry blossoms are often planted by locals in front of their homes.

The road leading to Da Lat's outskirts is filled with the vibrant colors of the blossoms.

"To avoid crowds, many tourists choose routes to the outskirts to admire and photograph the cherry blossoms", Ngoc Lan, a tourist from Dong Nai, said.

Currently, visitors can find beautiful flower routes in areas such as Trai Mat, Hung Vuong street, Xuan Huong Lake, and Da Lat University.
