Paola Manca, a French student on a 5-week internship at Hue Central Hospital, visited Da Nang during her exploration of central Vietnam. For her, the most memorable moment came from a simple experience: enjoying grilled meat and hot soup on a roadside one morning. "In France, we're used to bread, butter, and warm milk. Here, it's the smoke from the grill, the rich flavors, and the warmth infused in every dish," she said.

Paola also visited Ba Na Hills and was quickly captivated by the scenery. "My friends and I loved this place and promised ourselves we'd return soon," she shared.
It's not easy for an Asian city to make its mark on the global tourism map. However, it's no coincidence that Da Nang was once chosen by travel magazine Live and Invest Overseas (LIO) as one of the 10 most livable cities. It possesses all the elements that make tourists not only want to visit but also dream of living there long-term.
Arvind Patel (India) arrived in Da Nang on a journey to discover the culture of central Vietnam. After visiting the Cham Museum and Ba Na Hills, he spent time in small cafes at the foot of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge, editing photos and chatting with locals. "I found inspiration not only through my lens but also in the stories of the locals," he said.

Julia Morin (France) was captivated by the view from Hai Van Pass down to the bay, where she witnessed the mountains and sea together in a single frame for the first time. "I never thought I'd find a city with both beaches and mountains, peaceful yet vibrant like Da Nang," she said.
Beyond its captivating scenery, Da Nang also leaves a lasting impression with its welcoming atmosphere. Many tourists find the city clean, easy to navigate, and safe. The coastal residential areas are well-planned, promoting the use of electric vehicles and maintaining open spaces, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in local life.

The Express (UK) once likened Da Nang to "a Paramount film set in the heart of Europe", describing the beauty of Ba Na Hills as both spectacular and poetic.
In 2025, Da Nang is expected to become a central Vietnam tourism and cultural hub, hosting major events like the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), a film week, the "Enjoy Da Nang" program, and the VnExpress Marathon Da Nang 2025 on 20/7.
This event offers a new way for domestic and international tourists to discover the city through its coastal route. According to organizers, the VM Da Nang will have 300 international runners among a total of 11,000 participants. Readers can find more news about the race here.
