New tourism experiences in Nha Trang, summer 2025

A yacht festival, premium group tours, and a marathon with 13,000 participants are contributing to Nha Trang's vibrant tourism scene this summer.

Nha Trang is hosting nearly 40 cultural, sports, and entertainment events throughout June, July, and August 2025. These are part of the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2025, organized by the Khanh Hoa People's Committee (UBND), the Nha Trang Tourism Association, and various businesses. These new activities aim to enhance visitor experiences, extend stays, and boost domestic and international tourism.

A highlight of this summer is the yacht festival from July 11th to 15th. The Emperor Cruises Legend, a luxury yacht operated by Lux Cruises Group, is attracting affluent travelers. With its royal design, the yacht accommodates up to 99 guests and offers experiences such as a Pham Luc art exhibition, sunset cocktail parties, and Vietnamese cuisine in an artistic setting.

Familiar island tours to Hon Mun, Hon Mot, Hon Tam, and Hon Mieu are being refreshed with added services like snorkeling, jet skiing, and speedboat rides, appealing to young groups, families, and international tourists who enjoy watersports.

Multi-destination tours connecting Nha Trang with Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, and Da Lat are also being promoted. These 3-5 day trips allow visitors to explore Ganh Da Dia, Mui Dien, experience vineyards and mud baths, and enjoy the highland climate. Premium group tours with VIP sleeper buses from Ho Chi Minh City are expanding, catering to the flexible travel needs of southern visitors.

Beyond relaxation, Nha Trang's summer is vibrant with sports events like the Sea Star swimming competition, beach volleyball, trail running, and pickleball tournaments. The VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2025, the province's largest community sports event, is scheduled for August 24th.

Huynh Minh Nhut, Chairman of the Nha Trang Tourism Association, stated that they are collaborating with the province, related units, and businesses to develop tourism products to extend visitor stays. International-scale entertainment, music, and sports events play a key role.

The VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2025, the final race in the VnExpress Marathon coastal series, will gather around 13,000 domestic and international runners. Participants will conquer the coastal route at dawn, crossing Tran Phu Bridge, Tram Huong Tower, and Luong Son Pass—considered one of the most scenic routes in the system.

The VnExpress Marathon is organized by VnExpress Electronic Newspaper and FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company. Interested readers can find information here.
