Project connects traditional craft villages at Aeon Mall Long Bien

The "Tram Nghe Tram Nghe" complex recreates an ancient cultural space, connecting traditional craft villages with a modern retail environment, running until 19/4.

The "Tram Nghe Tram Nghe" complex offers visitors a unique opportunity to delve into the cultural values of Vietnamese craftsmanship. Organizers state that the project's design draws inspiration from the image of a "cocoon", symbolizing the nurturing and birth of heritage values.

Located outdoors, opposite the Dome Hall, the complex utilizes a "cocoon within a cocoon" model to delineate functional zones. The central cocoon serves as the primary exhibition space, showcasing the essence of 5 representative craft villages: pottery, silk, rattan and bamboo weaving, conical hats, and *do* paper. Visitors can explore the history and crafting processes of artisans from Thang Long - Ha Noi. Satellite cocoons host direct interactive activities, managing visitor flow and ensuring a comfortable experience even during peak hours.

To optimize the experience for a wide range of customers, Aeon Mall Long Bien organizes workshop activities with specific weekly schedules. monday to friday features highly flexible activities such as making *to he* figurines, crafting bamboo dragonflies, decorating conical hats, printing Dong Ho folk paintings, or stringing wooden beads. saturday to sunday includes more in-depth workshops like practicing pottery on a spinning wheel, making mini conical hat keychains, coloring *do* paper paintings, or creating foil art.

A representative from the organizers noted that diversifying activities daily helps maintain the complex's appeal. This approach encourages visitors to extend their stay and directly engage with heritage values, rather than passively observing. Beyond cultural activities, the event also establishes a commercial ecosystem to support craft villages through a craft fair, which runs until 19/4. Situated in the corridor next to the bus stop, the fair offers distinctive handcrafted products, including exquisite ceramics, traditional silk, and rattan and bamboo woven goods.

"This project represents a new approach to heritage preservation combined with the promotion of traditional products. The shopping center acts as a bridge, helping to spread traditional values to the community within contemporary life", the organizer's representative added.
