The project, invested by Thanh Cong Group, is operated by The Shilla Hotels & Resorts, a hotel brand of Samsung Group (South Korea). This property is the brand's first international resort developed outside South Korea.
The 5-year anniversary event was held in TP HCM as an exhibition, showcasing Shilla Monogram Danang's development journey. The event space recreated important milestones, from its launch as The Shilla Hotels & Resorts' first international resort outside South Korea, to its current position on the regional tourism map.

Speaking at the event, general manager Karim Meziane extended his gratitude to partners who have accompanied the resort throughout this period. He stated that, in the next phase, Shilla Monogram Danang will continue to maintain its direction of combining The Shilla's service standards with local cultural values, while also enhancing community engagement activities at the destination.
The project was developed based on the extensive experience of The Shilla Hotels & Resorts, a hotel brand of Samsung Group. Since its establishment in 1979, The Shilla Seoul has hosted high-level delegations, diplomats, and international events, thereby setting a benchmark for premium service in Asia.
A representative for the operating unit stated that the launch of the project in Quang Nam demonstrates the brand's calculated international expansion strategy. This decision reflects the goal of bringing the Shilla-standard resort model to key tourism markets, while adapting to local cultural contexts and destinations.

This expansion is shaped by the brand philosophy "Shilla Monogram, Shilla's heritage intertwined with Vietnamese essence". Accordingly, the resort operates based on a commitment to service sophistication and experiential harmony, from service procedures to architectural design.
The project was recognized with 5-star status by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in 2020, featuring 309 rooms, suites, and apartments. The resort combines Korean service style with local cultural elements of Da Nang and the UNESCO-recognized heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town.

After 5 years of operation, Shilla Monogram Danang has received numerous awards. Specifically, the project was awarded the title of Asia's Leading Lifestyle Resort 2025 by the World Travel Awards, recognizing its ability to meet the needs of travelers seeking a resort experience connected to local lifestyles. Additionally, Shilla Monogram Danang received the Luxury Wedding Resort 2025 award from the World Luxury Awards, acknowledging its strength in organizing large-scale wedding events. Furthermore, the title of Vietnam's Leading Family Beach Resort, presented by the Best Hotels & Resorts Awards, demonstrates its focus on serving diverse customer groups, including multi-generational families.
