A Sun PhuQuoc Airways representative stated that Singapore is a key market for the airline's international network expansion strategy, aiming to increase options for mid-to-high-end tourists.
With a flight time under two hours and a visa-exemption policy for international visitors, Phu Quoc is becoming a suitable short-stay destination for Singaporean tourists and the expat community living there. Data from Skyscanner shows that searches for Phu Quoc from Singaporean users increased by 184% compared to the same period last year, positioning the Pearl Island as the second trending destination this year.
