Tea appreciation tour on Ban Co Peak launched, reminiscent of billionaire Bill Gates' visit

The tea appreciation tour on Ban Co Peak, reminiscent of billionaire Bill Gates' visit, has officially launched, aiming to attract high-spending tourists.

The "tea appreciation tour at Ban Co Peak - Son Tra Peninsula" was launched on 25/7 by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches. This two-hour immersive experience, from 5h30 to 7h30, allows guests to participate in a tea opening ritual, observe a tea preparation art performance, and savor Vietnamese tea amidst the tranquil mountain forest.

Spanning approximately 100 m2, the service area is situated at Ban Co Peak's highest point, adjacent to the statue of the Immortal playing chess. To ensure an exclusive and high-standard experience, each tea tour accommodates a maximum of 10 guests.

The service will operate during two fixed daily slots to minimize impact on public visitors. The sunrise slot runs from 5h to 7h. The sunset slot runs from 18h to 19h30 (March to September) and from 17h to 18h30 (October to February of the following year).

This exclusive product targets high-spending customers, inspired by billionaire Bill Gates' visit and tea appreciation on Ban Co Peak in 3/2024. The initiative promotes high-quality ecotourism, ensuring harmony with nature and minimal impact on the peninsula's landscape. The city will pilot the tour for two years, followed by a temporary halt for evaluation and refinement before its official implementation.

Situated 700 m above sea level, Ban Co Peak is the highest point on Son Tra Peninsula, often referred to as Da Nang's "rooftop". From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the sea and the city's urban landscape.
